WHEREAS, Mo Truman was born December 29, 1949 in Widen, West Virginia and was a loving father to his two children, Steve and Lindsay: as   WHEREAS, Mo Truman proudly served his country in the United States Army after graduation from high school and spent 18 months in Germany, he later worded in the coal mines for 14 years and played music every weekend; and  WHEREAS, Mo Truman played with several bands, including Driftwood and Southern Mix, and traveled with such stars as Reba McIntrye, Patty Loveless, Willie Nelson and Charlie Daniels; and  WHEREAS, Mo Truman through his music, expressed his love for God and the Mountain State and always portrayed and unwavering devotion and commitment to his family, state and country that is truly an example to us all.  

 

THEREFORE, I, JOE MANCHIN III, Governor of West Virginia, do hereby present this proclamation in honor of Carl Steven "MO" Truman and in loving memory do hereby declare him to be a
