Mo's Obituary:

Carl Steven “Mo” Truman, 58, of Duck entered into rest June 4, 2008, at the University of Kentucky Hospital.

Born on Dec. 29, 1949, in Widen, he was the son of the late Joseph Albert and Dorla Lee Truman.

He was a retired coal miner, a self-employed musician, a 1967 graduate of Clay County High School, an Army veteran and a member of Widen Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Steven Michael Truman of Charleston; daughter, Lindsay Davison and husband, Jack, of Chugiak, Alaska; brother, Michael Truman of Valley Fork; five grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Ministers Joe Dawson and Joe Bob Truman officiating. Burial will follow in the Dawson Farm Cemetery, Duck. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
