My name is Smurf.  I met Mo back in 1990.  I walked into the Longhorn with my friend Laurie, and the rest is history.  I ended up working at the Longhorn for a few years as a bartender.  I ran with the band and I still feel they are my big brothers.  I love them all dearly.  

One of my most favorite memories of Mo, is I had been working at the Eagles club on the West Side and hadn't seen the guys for a while.  I walked into the old Longhorn, can't remember the name is was then but it will always be the Longhorn to me....Anyway, I walked into the bar with Paula Dee and I was about 7months pregnant by this time,  Mo was up on stage and seen me walk through the door and yelled from the stage....."Well Smurfie, you look like a brand new Volkswagon..."  I did because I was as round as I was tall.....But everyone got a kick out of it when they finally seen who he was talking to....

I have alot of great memories of Mo...I am so glad I was blessed with him in my life...
